Enrolments

Families interested in enrolling their child should make an appointment with the Approved Provider or Nominated Supervisor to visit the service.
Places will be offered according to availability in the required room and in accordance with government Priority of Access guidelines.

If we are unable to offer your child a place at the service their name will be placed on a waiting list. The waiting list will be maintained in order of the date of application.
Should a vacancy become available, it shall be filled from the first suitable child on the waiting list dependent on the date of application.

The Approved Provider or Nominated Supervisor will contact families when offering a place at the service.
All placements must be taken up within two weeks of the offer being made.

Families will be invited to tour the service with their child. During this tour, the Approved Provider or Nominated Supervisor will give the family information about the service including:
curriculum and pedagogy, meals and nutrition, incursions, excursions, inclusion, fees, policies, procedures, our status as a Sun Smart service,
regulations for our state and the licensing and assessment process, signing in and out procedures,
the National Quality Framework, room routines, educator qualifications, introduction to educators and family communication.
Families are also invited to ask any questions they may have.

Families will be given a copy of the Family Information Handbook, an enrolment form and other relevant information.

No child will be permitted to commence care until a completed and signed enrolment form is returned by a parent or guardian and all supporting documents have been provided.
