Educator Arrangements
At Trikki Kidz our policy is to recruit educators who are appropriately skilled and experienced.
At Trikki Kidz our educators have varying early childhood qualifications and participate in ongoing professional development and training to further develop their skills and knowledge.
The qualifications which educators may obtain include:
* Certificate III in Children’s Services
* Diploma of Children’s Services
* Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to 5 years)
* Bachelor of Education (Birth to 5 years)
* Bachelor of Early Childhood
At Trikki Kidz we will ensure that our service is at all times compliant in relation to educator/child ratios and qualified educators.
At Trikki Kidz, to promote the highest possible quality education and care, we endeavour to provide higher than stipulated minimum educator to child ratios.
Our educator to child ratios will always meet the minimum requirements as stated in the Education and Care Services National Regulations:
- Children aged from birth to 24 months require 1 educator to 4 children.
- Children aged over 24 months and less than 36 months require 1 educator to 8 children.
- Children aged over 36 months and less than 6 years require 1 educator to 10 children.
When children of mixed ages are being educated and cared for the minimum number of educators for the children will meet the requirements above at all times.
